The Garmin Edge 830 GPS Enabled Cycling Computer comes complete with a specific Mountain Bike Bundle that's perfect for mountain bike training, trail riding and dialling in your flow on favourite local trails. The accurate navigation, enhanced by combining GPS, GLONASS and barometric altimeter sensors, ensures that you can ride with local knowledge wherever you are. By using 'popularity routing' the unit will take you to the trails most ridden by fellow bikers and with the integrated TrailForks trail data you will have topographical data, trail conditions and heatmaps for over 80 countries at your fingertips. Unsure of whether you have the ability for a new trail? The Edge 830 will guide you to the trails that best suit your technical riding skills.

With the new MTB dynamics, you really won't miss a detail from your ride. If you like going large and scoring some hang time, the unit captures the amount of time the rubber is off the dirt, so you can really prove that you rode the big drop-off. But there's more here to help you refine your skills as a mountain biker than simply bragging about big air. You will get a Grit and Flow score as well that will measure the difficulty of a ride and how smoothly you descend through the berms so that next time you can pin the corners and improve your style.

For those taking their race preparation to the next level, the Edge 830 uses dynamic performance insights to keep your training load on track, and you will be able to see exactly how your body responds to altitude and warmer conditions. For added safety, you can notify the family of your location using LiveTrack and in the event of an incident out on the trail, your position will be sent to an emergency contact.

If riding a SHIMANO STEPS eBike system you can see remaining battery life, gear position, assist level and crucially, how much range you have left, so you will never get caught out without enough juice left to get home.
