An evolution in training performance, the Garmin Edge 1040 Solar GPS Cycling Computer is rich in features to enhance your experience in the saddle. Fuelled by the sun, solar charging is available via the Power Glass™ screen, extending the battery life by up to 42 minutes per hour when in battery saver mode or 20 minutes per hour during demanding use. This model also features multi-band GNSS technology, designed to offer superior GPS accuracy when in areas of reduced coverage.

Streamlined and intuitive, the navigation functions are simple, accurate and easy to follow, and the device connects seamlessly with applications such as Strava, Komoot and TrainingPeaks. Straight out of the box, the setup process is a straightforward affair, ensuring you’ll be straight out and receiving the benefits that this computer can bring. When used with compatible sensors, this unit can dispense power targets, bespoke course recommendations, and even stamina insights, highlighting how much longer you can push hard.
